NSW: Costello warns petrol retailers against collusion

Federal Treasurer PETER COSTELLO has warned petrol retailers not to collude with each
other to artificially jack up the price at the pump over the Easter long weekend.

He's told Macquarie Radio the ACCC will be on the lookout for any collusion between competitors.

The NRMA is expecting a rise in NSW petrol prices .. ahead of this weekend's Easter break.

The NRMA's ALAN EVANS says prices over the four-day long weekend .. could reach 140
cents a litre.
