Fed: Greens poll support slips
The latest Morgan polls says support for the Greens has dropped two per cent to seven-- their lowest level in a year.
The opinion poll also shows support for the Australian Democrats is up 1.5 percentagepoints to four per cent -- its highest level for almost a year.
Support for the strongly anti-war Greens reached 11 per cent in March in the leadupto the US-led invasion of Iraq, while support for the Democrats languished at around 2.5to 3 per cent.
The poll of 1,062 electors was conducted on August 9 and 10 in the week of the MarriottHotel Bombing in Jakarta.
The big winner appears to be the government -- with two-party preferred support up0.5 points to 50.5.
Support for Labor fell 0.5 points to 49.5.
