Voters in Saratoga County will decide next week whether to make major changes in their county form of government. A yes vote is warranted.
At issue are two major reforms. One would end the age-old system under which all town supervisors are automatically elected to the county board of supervisors simply by winning their local elections. The second reform would create a county Board of Representatives that would serve exclusively at the county level.
