Last week, the rumor was that they had secretly gotten married. Now, it seems Kanye West and his fiancee Alexis Phifer have split.
AOL's Black Voices columnist Jawn Murray had the story this weekend that West broke off the engagement -- and asked for his ring back.
Another source "close to the couple" told Us magazine Monday: "Kanye is possessed by the tour and everything going on and just couldn't keep [the relationship] going. They are still friends and have broken up and gotten back together …
